First few days

Well I'm finally settled in to the apartment which has an amazing view of lake Victoria. I know it's still morning back home but it is just now turning dark here. I'm excited about whats ahead for me here, and don't regret moving here in anyway. Although I do miss people back home but I feel I'm supposed to be here. If you can't tell this is my first blog ever so I don't really know how to do this. Hopefully I will get better each time and I don't know that I will do this everyday but I will try.
Day 1 in Africa.
We landed pretty late at night so we stayed in Entebbe at Central Inn so that we didn't have to drive all night. But we woke up the next morning ate a traditional Ugandan breakfast there at the hotel. Our driver (I can't pronounce his name so not even going to try and spell it) was there about 45 mins early so we got an early to Jinja. It's a long very scenic drive which I'm not complaining cause I saw a monkey up I'm a tree. I love watching monkeys they are so interesting to me. But we finally got to the new apartment pretty much just dropped off bags go eat lunch at Surjio's,then off to the store to buy everything that we needed. It was hot and I was so tired but stayed up as late as could to try and get used to the time change.
Day 2
Woke up today around 10:30 and cooked some eggs here. Everything here is organic which is nice so I can get some what healthy. Was going to try and get bronze by the pool for a little while to get used to the sun but we hired a girl today that will help around the apartment her name is Sharon. She tought us how to cook beans and rice today and she is a great cook but we made enough to last us about 3 weeks. I guess I will learn to like leftovers. Then went and bought an Ugandan phone which is going to take some time to get used to. The nice thing about it is that if someone calls me from America then it doesn't cost me anything. You must really have to want to here my voice to call haha. Nothing much more today it's just time to sit down and relax, until next time......
